We take great care in the recruitment of our sitters. We interview potential home and pet sitters in their own homes, taking up character references, police disclosures and learning as much as possible about their experience with animals.

Our sitters are retired/ early-retired people with a zest for life and respect for other people's homes. The nature of the work means that they are active, caring people who are experienced with animals. We have couples and single sitters working with us, all matched with the individual client's requirements.
Our sitters come to meet you and your pets at a mutually convenient time before your actual departure date. This can be a couple of weeks or even a couple of months before the actual assignment date if you wish. They will come to you with a check list to complete with you, listing your precise needs and those of your pets.
Your sitters will discuss everything with you from exercising your dog and administering medication to mowing your lawn and caring for plants, or even a lift to a nearby airport / railway station.
There is no charge for this pre-visit, we just ask you to pay the sitters return mileage at 36 pence per mile.
